With the 2021 Call for Abstracts now open, we are With the 2021 Call for Abstracts now open, we are often asked, "What is a Virtual Presentation?"

A virtual presentation allows you the convenience of preparing and delivering your talk from the comfort of your home or office - no travel, no pressure, just you, and your knowledge, on display!

Upon the Call for Abstracts closing (April 16), GeoConvention will offer several tools that will allow you to record your voice, your slides and video of you speaking (if you wish), so that you may upload the presentation recording to our Presentation Management System which will be what is shown at the conference.

During the conference, you will be asked to be online during your scheduled presentation time to answer any questions that may come up from the audience. Typical oral presentations are about 20 minutes in length and posters are 5 minutes. Posters can be a video of a static image while you speak to the content or a series of slides.

We hope that you will join us in contributing to Canada’s premier integrated geoscience conference. No matter where you are in the world, participating in GeoConvention is easier than ever!
