Invitation Letters

Invitation letters are only issued to paid delegates or presenters; please purchase your delegate pass prior to requesting a letter via the link instructions below to obtain your password to access the invitation letter request page.

Please note that we will only issue invitation letters and cannot help with your application or with border services. It is your responsibility to apply for the appropriate visa with the appropriate documentation. We suggest leaving ample processing time for your entry visa. Current processing times can be found at the Government of Canada Immigration page.

Steps

1. Register for the Conference via the button below
2. Pay your invoice via wire transfer and alert info@geoconvention.com of your submission**
   1. Wire instructions will be included as part of your registration confirmation email
3. Upon receipt of your funds, we will share a password that you may use to access the invitation form below.
4. Fill out the required information and submit your invitation letter request
5. Send a copy of your visa application and your application number to info@geoconvention.com so we may alert IRCC

**To limit fraudulent credit card transactions, wire transfer is the only payment option for international delegates

Please note the following:

• Visa applications are considered on a case-by-case basis based on the information presented by the applicant. The onus is on the applicant to show that they meet the requirements for a temporary resident visa.
• While a special event code has been assigned to the event, it does not offer any advantage to the applicant, in terms of a positive visa outcome.
• The applicant must meet all the eligibility criteria in order to receive a visa.
• Information collected as part of the invitation letter process is shared by GeoConvention to IRCC and is used to identify and coordinate the processing of visa applications with IRCC; applying for letter without confirmed registration is not advised.
